London Power Tunnels
National Grid is rewiring London via deep underground tunnels, in order to meet increasing power demand.
Having been involved in this 7 year project from the beginning, we have given their consultation website a refresh to keep it vibrant and informative as well as responsive across all platforms. We illustrated all the key benefits of the power tunnels with London residents able to keep up to date with latest news, ask specific questions and find out when the work will be carried out in their area, using an animated map of the tunnel route…where nearly 200km of 400kV cable is being installed…the same length as the M25.
