Wagstaffs wins architectural 3D award for digital tool VUITNOW

At the CGarchitect.com Architectural 3D Awards, held in La Coruna, Spain, on Saturday 11th July, digital communications agency Wagstaffs picked up an award for VUITNOW.

The company won the interactive category for its pioneering sales and marketing tool, VUITNOW, which enables buyers to take a virtual tour of a development before it is built.

The future of property

“These awards, in the field of architectural visualisation are very important for us,” said Jason Hawthorne, MD at Wagstaffs. “We know this is a ground breaking piece of technology but it is great to have an endorsement from the 3D architectural visualisation industry.”

VUITNOW in action

Just one example of how VUITNOW is being used by property developers is Chobham Manor. On the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London, this development from Taylor Wimpey comprises 180 homes, and as soon as they saw VUITNOW in action the marketing team were keen to use it.

The technology allows buyers to walk through the development, into individual homes and orbit the site, as well as the local area.

The VUITNOW interface, which can be used across multiple platforms, also gives buyers the chance to:

Filter accommodation by price or number of bedrooms with the results highlighted on the digital model.

Select to view floor plans and apartment information.

Save up to ten favourites, and then compare and refine selection of favourite apartment plans at large scale. Favourites list can be emailed to potential buyer.

Take screen shots at any stage, compiling their own bespoke digital brochure, which can be shared via email.

At Chobham Manor, VUITNOW helped boost sales, fed back data and made the experience of buying a home more enjoyable for buyers. Both the sales team and buyers reported how much they enjoyed the easy user interface and virtual tours.

Tomorrow’s world

President and CEO of CGarchitect Digital Media Corp Jeff Mottle said: “Digital tools such as VUITNOW are increasingly important in property marketing. Currently there is a shift in focus from the more traditional sales and marketing activity with physical models of developments, towards an interactive digital system that increases sales.”
